Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Travel)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Perform EKG monitoring, IV insertion, and medication administration for a medical surgical/telemetry patient population
- Conduct Foley catheter insertion, vital signs monitoring, and thorough assessment documentation
- Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) as needed
- Perform point-of-care testing, including blood glucose monitoring
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 within a 30-bed unit using Cerner EMR
- Float to other units in accordance with facility requirements as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for the state of Pennsylvania
- 1–2+ years of Medical Surgical experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Telemetry and EKG interpretation experience
- Prior travel nursing experience in a medical surgical setting
