    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Location

    Sanford, NC | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Travel

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit serving patients across all age groups
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EHR
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Participate in call and float requirements as needed
    • Work every other weekend and/or as needed per unit scheduling
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure valid to practice in North Carolina
    • BLS certification required prior to start
    • CPI / HWC / MAB certification required prior to start
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start
    • Minimum 1–2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MST) experience
    • Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Cerner electronic health records
    • Professional demeanor with strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Familiarity with common Med/Surg and Telemetry diagnoses and treatments
