Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythm strips for assigned patients
- Deliver nursing care on an isolation/COVID unit and overflow unit as needed
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Telemetry experience required
- Basic Arrhythmia exam score of 85% or greater required
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Prior experience in an isolation or overflow unit setting
