Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights (1845–0715) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including an isolation/COVID unit and overflow unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in alignment with unit protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Telemetry experience required
- Basic Arrhythmia exam score of 85% or greater required
- BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Prior experience in an isolation or COVID unit setting
