Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Days | 3x12 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
Key Responsibilities
Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families/caregivers
Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems, demonstrating cognitive and psychosocial competency specific to the population served
Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed to support individualized patient outcomes across the entire episode of care
Float to other units within the organization up to competency level as required by department needs
Maintain availability for schedule variations including weekends, holidays, and one additional shift per schedule period
Pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
Required Qualifications
Active Nevada RN license required prior to start date
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
Prior travel nursing experience of at least one completed 13-week assignment required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience caring for complex patient populations including adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Familiarity with high-acuity environments and advanced monitoring technologies
Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in fast-paced settings
