    Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

    Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive, individualized nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families throughout the entire episode of care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
    • Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems, demonstrating knowledge of cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the patient population served.
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, identifying and measuring cardiac rhythms accurately.
    • Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Float to other units as needed up to competency level and pick up one additional shift per schedule period as required.
    • Maintain ongoing professional growth and apply a scientific knowledge base to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start date.
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
    • Must successfully pass a telemetry competency exam covering identification and measurement of telemetry rhythm strips.
    • Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience required.
    • At least one prior travel nursing assignment of 13 weeks required.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for complex patient populations in a high-acuity medical surgical or telemetry setting.
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying schedules including weekends, holidays, and fluctuating department needs.
