Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Observation Unit)

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Observation Unit setting with a focus on telemetry monitoring
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including dress code and infection control policies
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be active and valid at time of submission
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Observation or Step-Down Unit
- Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
- Experience working in a high-compliance, structured facility environment
