Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical / Telemetry units within an acute care hospital setting
- Float to other MS/Tele units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner electronic health records
- Adhere to facility dress code and compliance standards throughout the assignment
- Complete required orientation modules as assigned during onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN state license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must have been separated from this facility for at least 1 year if previously employed there
- Local candidates are welcome
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic float environment across multiple MS/Tele units
