Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias
- Care for post-surgical patients including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and similar procedures
- Rotate weekend shifts in coordination with core staff
- Participate in holiday scheduling on an A or B rotation
- Float to a sister facility as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Must pass a dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% or higher within two attempts prior to contract start
- Must pass a Simulation Lab competency assessment on Day 1 of orientation
- Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing setting
- Familiarity with post-surgical patient populations
