Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to Medical Surgical / Telemetry patients in an acute care setting with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, including dysrhythmia identification, using bedside monitors capable of telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
- Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure continuity of care across shifts
- Adhere to facility charting standards using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as a non-negotiable scheduling requirement
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
- Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license required prior to start date
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Ability to commit to every-other-weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a community hospital setting
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records platform
