Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
Monitor and interpret telemetry, including dysrhythmia identification, using bedside monitors capable of telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
Collaborate with a 24/7 house supervisor and unit leadership to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes
Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) if applicable
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a community hospital setting
