    Contract (13 or 26-week options available) | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3x12-hour shifts) | 36 or 48-hour weekly options available | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units, with potential assignment to units including Observation, Stepdown/PCU, Heart and Vascular, Neuroscience, Ortho, Trauma, Oncology, and Solid Organ Transplant
    • Administer and manage IV drips, which are required on all floors
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records (required)
    • Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs, including potential assignment to a sister campus approximately 16 minutes from the main campus
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including CNAs, care techs, transport team, swoop/paramedics, and LPNs (where assigned)
    • Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska license required; pending license accepted, though confirmed start date will be six weeks out if license is not in hand at time of submission)
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
    • Proficiency with EPIC charting (required)
    • IV drip management experience required
    • Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification (strongly preferred)
    • Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
    • Background in specialty areas such as Telemetry, Oncology, Neuroscience, Trauma, or Cardiac care
