    Contract (13 or 26-week options) | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 4x12-hour shifts) | 36 or 48-hour weekly options available

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed medical-surgical and telemetry unit serving adult patients (18+) with acute and/or chronic conditions including sepsis, respiratory illness, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine conditions, cardiac disease, and COVID-19
    • Manage titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, post-bariatric procedures, high oxygen delivery systems, and end-of-life care
    • Operate within a team-based care delivery model alongside Lead Nurses, Virtual Nurses, LPNs, and Nursing Assistants, working at the top of your scope of practice
    • Float frequently across units and campuses as needed to meet facility staffing needs
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
    • Fulfill weekend and holiday requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Nebraska (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be booked six weeks out)
    • Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required, obtained at a large, urban hospital
    • BLS certification required
    • Experience managing titratable drips required (applicable on all floors)
    • EPIC charting experience required
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center (may be considered in lieu of travel experience for first-time travelers)
    • Familiarity with team-based care delivery models involving multidisciplinary staff
    • Experience with complex patient populations including post-bariatric, tracheostomy, and end-of-life care
