    Contract (13 or 26 week options available) | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts) | 36 or 48 hour per week options available | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units, including complex and high-acuity patient populations
    • Administer and manage IV drips; drip competency is required on all floors
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
    • Float frequently across units and potentially to a sister campus to meet staffing needs; units may include Observation, Stepdown/PCU, Heart and Vascular, Neuroscience, Ortho, Oncology, Trauma, and Medical Surgical floors
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including CNAs, care techs, transport, and paramedics/swoop personnel
    • Adhere to all facility policies including a 100% nicotine-free facility requirement
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending Nebraska RN state license accepted; if license is not in hand at time of submission, start date will be booked six weeks out)
    • BLS certification required (ACLS strongly preferred)
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting; experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center preferred for first-time travelers
    • Proficiency with EPIC charting is required
    • Must be available to work 4 weekend shifts out of every 8 possible in a 4-week period (Friday night and Saturday night for night shift)
    • Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification
    • Experience in specialty areas such as oncology, neuroscience, trauma, cardiac, or transplant nursing
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a large academic medical center environment
    • Familiarity with caring for complex, multi-system patient populations
