    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Location

    Omaha, NE | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 or 26-week options available) | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week options available | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units, including potential assignment to various units based on experience and facility need
    • Administer and manage IV drips — drip competency is required on all floors
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
    • Float frequently within scope to meet staffing needs across units, including potential assignment to a sister campus approximately 16 minutes away
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport team, and paramedics/swoop personnel
    • Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including weekend and holiday shift obligations
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — pending license accepted, but if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be scheduled six weeks out
    • BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with experience in a large, urban hospital required
    • Proficiency with EPIC charting required
    • Must be willing and able to float to various units and campuses to meet facility staffing needs
    • Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification
    • Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
    • Background in specialty areas such as Neuro, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, Transplant, or Progressive Care
    • Familiarity with high-acuity, complex patient populations
