Contract (13 or 26 week options available) | Nights, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00–07:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units, including specialty areas such as Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, PCU, and Observation
Administer and manage IV drips as required across all assigned floors
Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs, including potential assignment to a sister campus approximately 16 minutes from the main facility
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport, paramedics, and LPNs where assigned
Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements as outlined by unit scheduling policies
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska license required; pending license accepted if not yet in hand at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
Background in specialty areas such as Neuro, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, or Progressive Care
Comfort and flexibility with frequent floating across multiple units and campuses
