    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Contract (13 or 26 week options available) | Nights, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units, including specialty areas such as Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, PCU, and Observation
    • Administer and manage IV drips as required across all assigned floors
    • Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs, including potential assignment to a sister campus approximately 16 minutes from the main facility
    • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport, paramedics, and LPNs where assigned
    • Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements as outlined by unit scheduling policies
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska license required; pending license accepted if not yet in hand at time of submission)
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
    • BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
    • Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
    • Demonstrated ability to manage IV drips
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
    • Background in specialty areas such as Neuro, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, or Progressive Care
    • Comfort and flexibility with frequent floating across multiple units and campuses
