Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Expected 36–48 hours/week on alternating schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry observation and medical-surgical intervention
- Float to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units as assigned based on facility need
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
- Demonstrated ability to float across multiple Med/Surg and Telemetry units
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
