Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry float pool environment across applicable units based on facility need
• Float to various units as requested based on census and staffing needs
• Chart accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC
• Complete required NIH and stroke education as part of facility compliance for acute care RN roles
• Maintain compliance with all unit-specific and facility-wide clinical standards and protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — Virginia license required to be in hand at time of submittal, or proof of a valid compact license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required — must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• EPIC charting experience required
• NIH and stroke education required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty experience within the last year
• One supervisory reference required at time of submittal
• SSN required at time of submittal
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same base rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit acute care setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Strong adaptability and ability to acclimate quickly to varying unit environments
