Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Available shift patterns: Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient outcomes
- Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA BLS certification in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA ACLS certification in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience consolidated within a single facility
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements and pre-start onboarding processes
