Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Complete required facility orientation modules and assessments prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — must be in hand at time of submission
Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification — must be in hand at time of submission
One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months required
No open background or license hits; background check results are subject to facility review
Preferred Experience / Skills
Permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience consolidated within a single facility
Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
Familiarity with electronic medication administration and safety assessment tools
