Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license in hand at time of submission — no license hits accepted
Active AHA BLS certification required at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
Active AHA ACLS certification required at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months required
Must be able to pass an ECG rhythm recognition test and a medication safety assessment (up to 2 attempts allowed)
Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility location preferred
Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or medical surgical setting
