Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract (13–18 week options available) | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license in hand at time of submission — no license hits accepted
- Active AHA BLS certification required at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
- Active AHA ACLS certification required at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months required
- Must be able to pass an ECG rhythm recognition test and a medication safety assessment (up to 2 attempts allowed)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility location preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or medical surgical setting
