Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, managing patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post-cardiac catheterization recovery
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including step-down from ICU (no ventilator or pressor support required)
• Administer and monitor IV drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation
• Float to other like units as needed based on census demands; floating will only occur to units for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented
• Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis (every other weekend, subject to change based on need)
• Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee (TN) Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry or similar unit
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with step-down or progressive care unit patient populations
• Familiarity with cardiac drip management and telemetry monitoring
• First-time travelers will be considered based on relevant experience
