    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Location

    Lebanon, PA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekends as needed (likely every other weekend)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, including management of cardiac disease, stroke, joint replacements, respiratory conditions, and peritoneal dialysis patients
    • Care for occasional stable post-open heart surgery patients transferred from the ICU (typically day 4–5 post-op)
    • Float to all Medical Surgical floors and potentially rehab units; may float to OB as helping hands
    • Collaborate with program coordinators (e.g., CHF and Stroke) to deliver high-quality patient education
    • Work assigned holidays per facility requirements (expected to work 1–2 of the major holiday periods during the contract)
    • Complete pre-start modules and, where applicable, pass the EKG exam within 72 hours of signing the travel contract
    Required Qualifications
    • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license hits accepted
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
    • ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
    • BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
    • EPIC charting experience required
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Strong EPIC charting proficiency (heavily preferred)
    • Experience with cardiac, telemetry, or post-surgical patient populations
    • Familiarity with peritoneal dialysis or respiratory patient care
