Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 24 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an acute Medical Surgical unit with a concentration in general surgical, vascular, gynecological, colorectal, and trauma patients
Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in clinical status
Perform and manage IV starts and maintenance as part of routine patient care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Demonstrated experience with IV starts
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience caring for vascular, colorectal, or trauma patient populations
Familiarity with acute surgical unit workflows and post-operative patient management
