Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Utilize the Pyxis medication dispensing system for safe medication administration
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
- Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina (SC) Registered Nurse license
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience preferred; candidates with 1+ year of recent relevant unit experience may be considered
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this assignment (night shift, Adult Medical Tele); candidates between 50–99.9 miles may be subject to a reduced bill rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Telemetry or Medical Surgical experience
- Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- Prior travel nursing experience
