    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float

    Location

    Centennial, CO (Float Zone covering the greater Denver, CO area within a 60-mile radius)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care across a multi-facility float pool covering Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, with potential float to PCU/Stepdown and low-acuity ICU holds based on skillset
    • Care for an adult and geriatric patient population with diagnoses including cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, oncology, renal, urology, general surgery, gynecology, and general medicine conditions
    • Titrate Heparin drips and manage patients on RT equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP as needed
    • Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6 based on acuity, with support from nurse aides and a designated charge nurse
    • Adapt to flexible scheduling formats, including set weekly facility assignments or Just-In-Time (JIT) facility notification 1–2 hours before shift start
    • Fulfill weekend shift requirements (6–9 shifts per 6-week schedule) and participate in holiday rotation as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
    • Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
    • Ability to float throughout a 60-mile radius zone; candidate must secure housing that supports this requirement
    • Must be present in state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely
    • Valid driver's license required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a neuro nursing setting
    • Experience working in a float pool or multi-facility environment
    • Familiarity with specialty populations including cardiac, oncology, rehab, bariatrics, ortho, and trauma
