Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to a primarily Medical Surgical patient population, including observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
- Care for psychiatric observation patients, diabetic patients (including newly diagnosed and those with complications), surgical patients, and surgical observation patients
- Pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed) — required for all RNs regardless of specialty
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
- Float to other system campuses as needed per facility policy
- Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable; average 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
- No open background check cases permitted
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience as a Charge RN
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
