Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry in Greensboro, NC

Care for patients with respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, diabetes (including new diabetics and complication-related cases), surgical and surgical observation patients, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, and psychiatric observation patients. Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a primarily Medical Surgical patient population on a telemetry-capable unit
• Care for patients with respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, diabetes (including new diabetics and complication-related cases), surgical and surgical observation patients, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, and psychiatric observation patients
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
• Float to other facility campuses as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in onboarding modules and complete all compliance requirements prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts permitted; no study materials provided)
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); current driver's license required to confirm address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
