Contract | 26-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical-Surgical population on a telemetry-capable unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Perform blood product administration, peripheral line care management, and IV insertion
- Administer and monitor Heparin, Insulin, and PCA; manage nasal cannula oxygen delivery
- Implement and maintain isolation precautions per facility protocol
- Utilize Rapid Response teams as clinically indicated
- Serve as Charge RN and float to other campus locations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must successfully pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
- Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting
- Charge RN experience
- Familiarity with Rapid Response protocols and high-acuity patient management
