    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every 3rd Weekend | Holidays as needed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care for patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility
    • Perform medication reconciliation, interpretation of laboratory results, and comprehensive patient health assessments including vital signs
    • Execute clinical procedures including dressing changes, aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup, phlebotomy, and specimen collection and labeling
    • Conduct telephone triage and manage pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
    • Float between health system campuses as needed to support staffing across multiple units
    • Manage patient assignments at a ratio of 1:6, with rotating assignments of up to 7 patients of equivalent acuity
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
    • BLS certification required
    • EPIC EMR experience required
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience — first-time travelers will not be considered
    • Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
    • Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
    • No open background check cases permitted
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address
    • RTO requests must be submitted with the application — no post-submission RTO accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Acute Care Rehabilitation nursing experience strongly preferred
    • Experience caring for post-stroke, post-aneurysm, or post-operative surgical rehabilitation patients
    • Familiarity with neurological patient populations and rehabilitation care protocols
