Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a cardiac patient population
Perform phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement — mandatory competencies required for all RNs in this role
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and utilize Rapid Response Teams as needed

Adhere to isolation precautions and facility infection control protocols
Float within scope to like units to meet facility staffing needs
Required Qualifications
Active, unencumbered New York State RN License — must be in hand at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience (first-time travelers accepted)
Epic EMR experience is a hard requirement
Every-other-weekend availability required
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry or cardiac unit
Demonstrated proficiency with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Familiarity with Rapid Response Team protocols
