Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 96-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:4–6
- Manage and titrate drips including Heparin, blood products, and IV fluids
- Validate and read telemetry strips in collaboration with monitor technicians across 16 telemetry-capable beds
- Care for patients with common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, pneumonia, and general surgical and medical telemetry conditions
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage based on unit needs, including holiday coverage for 2026
- Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per census and staffing demands
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Ability to titrate drips within scope of practice
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Medical Surgical/Telemetry patient populations including CHF, COPD, and post-surgical care
- Familiarity with telemetry strip reading and validation workflows
- Experience working in high-census environments with charge nurse and house supervisor support structures
