Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
- Complete required annual hands-on competencies and facility-assigned training modules
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
- All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
- One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the applying specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)
- Must be able to achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
- No open licensing actions or open background hits; background hits of any kind are subject to facility review
- Local candidates are welcome and will be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience gained within a single facility or location preferred, though not required
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records and hospital orientation module platforms
