Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
- Support nursing leadership in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate patient care
- Contribute to the competency development and oversight of clinical staff
- Assist with appropriate resource management related to patient care at the unit level
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina or a compact state license
- Experience in telemetry or medical-surgical/telemetry nursing
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac monitoring environment
- Familiarity with clinical staff supervision and delegation practices
- Experience supporting nursing leadership in quality and safety initiatives
