Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Every other weekend required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
- Float between two MS/Tele units and to other units or affiliate facilities based on census and skill needs
- Maintain patient safety standards including medication administration via BCMA
- Utilize Liko lifts and standard med/surg telemetry equipment as part of daily patient care
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Work as part of a flex pool, supporting staffing needs across the facility where most needed
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact RN license (pending submissions accepted)
- BLS certification – required
- ACLS certification – required
- NIHSS certification – required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Must be comfortable floating without restrictions within the facility and to nearby affiliate locations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ICU or PCU experience in addition to strong MS/Tele background
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records
- Well-rounded clinical background with comfort managing varied patient populations
