    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
    • Float to like units or lower acuity units across up to 5 hospital campuses as needed, based on organizational needs (excluding the ED)
    • Work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
    • Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to start date
    • Maintain compliance with all unit-specific and system-wide clinical protocols
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN License required (Temp or Perm; no EMSA) — must be in hand at time of submission
    • AHA BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum 2+ years of concurrent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry
    • Travel nursing experience required
    • EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history required

    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or health system locations
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and intermediate acuity patient populations
    • Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays
