Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00–07:30) | Block Scheduling | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving an adult to geriatric population
• Manage patient assignments with ratios of up to 1:6–7
• Administer and monitor IV drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone; proficiency in drip management is required
• Complete pre-start modules prior to assignment begin date (module time is non-billable and not included in scheduled hours)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license or Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• Former permanent staff at this facility are not eligible for travel roles until 10 years following separation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; highly experienced first-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Strong background in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
• Comfort managing a high-acuity adult and geriatric patient population
