Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend and every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within an acute care setting
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record system
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all aspects of care delivery
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience in an acute care facility
- Telemetry experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic health record system highly preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
