Contract | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 hours/week | 3x12-hour shifts | Every other weekend | Every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Deliver neurological assessments and nursing interventions for neuro patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in telemetry monitoring and neurological nursing care
- Travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with MediTech electronic health record system
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-acuity patient population in a fast-paced environment
