    Contract | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed adult orthopedic spine unit specializing in spinal surgeries including laminectomies, spinal fusions, and discectomies
    • Manage a diverse patient population with diagnoses including cardiac conditions, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, DVT, and PE
    • Assist with and monitor special procedures including bedside lumbar puncture, post-cath care (radial and femoral), post-surgical care, post renal biopsy, CT angiography, and Heparin drips
    • Support integrated pain management, physical therapy, and mobility programs for post-surgical patients
    • Accurately document patient care and assessments using EPIC EMR
    • Float to other units or campuses as needed based on census, limited to areas within documented competencies
    Required Qualifications
    • Active South Carolina RN license or active multistate compact license (pending licenses not accepted)
    • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in an orthopedic or Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
    • Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
    • Must meet applicable distance requirements from facility to be eligible for travel assignment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with orthopedic spine surgical patient populations including pre- and post-operative care
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient management
    • Experience with Heparin drip management and post-procedural care protocols
