Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Work rotating day and night shifts, including every other holiday, to meet operational needs
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
Active permanent Ohio RN license or active compact state license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
Active ACLS certification required
Active NIHSS certification required
One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
One or more years of recent oncology or chemotherapy administration experience
Experience within a single facility for the required specialty tenure is preferred
