Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekends Only (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms as part of ongoing patient assessment
- Float as needed to designated units to care for the same patient population
- Participate in holiday coverage rotation, working at least every other holiday
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry (travel experience may substitute for the recent experience requirement)
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18 months of permanent experience obtained within a single facility location
- Prior travel nursing experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry settings
