Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Complete required facility orientation modules and annual hands-on competency requirements as applicable
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Active ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the applying specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (Charge RN references accepted)
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Experience gained within a single location preferred, though not required
- Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration assessments
