Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
- Work rotating day and night shifts, including every other holiday, to meet operational needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or active compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
- One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- One or more years of recent oncology or chemotherapy administration experience
- Experience within a single facility for the required specialty tenure is preferred
