    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Location

    Chesapeake, VA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Renal / Diabetic unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Perform IV insertions and monitor patients via telemetry interpretation
    • Participate in every-other-weekend (EOW) rotation, float assignments, and holiday coverage as required within the contract
    • Complete required pre-start modules (approximately 3 billable hours) prior to the first day of orientation
    • Accurately document all patient care activities using the EPIC electronic health records system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Virginia or compact RN license in hand at time of submittal – no exceptions
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required; travel nursing experience is required
    • BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
    • Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records – no exceptions
    • Demonstrated skills in IV starts and telemetry interpretation

    Preferred Experience / Skills
