    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Location

    Chandler, AZ | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Care for general and orthopedic trauma stepdown patients including those with chest tubes, drains, wound vacs, and peritoneal dialysis needs
    • Read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips and monitor patients on GE telemetry equipment with central monitoring station support
    • Administer and titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone and Cardizem (titration down only)
    • Float to MedSurg Telemetry units as needed
    • Fulfill weekend shift requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period, plus one major and one minor holiday
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN experience (within the past 6 months)
    • Must successfully pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (maximum of 2 attempts, within 48 hours of offer)
    • Must pass a pass/fail Simulation Lab on day one of orientation (study guides provided)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for COVID-positive or infectious disease patient populations
    • Familiarity with CPAP and ventilator-adjacent patient management
    • Experience with wound vacs, chest tubes, and surgical drains
    • Comfort using Spectralink phone systems and integrated call light technology
