Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday as required
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification required at time of submission
NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required
Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of specialty experience obtained within a single facility location
Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity in completing pre-start compliance modules
