Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical-Surgical population on a telemetry-capable unit with remote monitoring capabilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings; all RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–6 while delivering safe, high-quality care
- Float to other system campuses as needed to support patient care demands
- Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Telemetry remote monitoring experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to start
- Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
- No open background cases permitted
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Current driver's license required to verify address
- Time-off requests must be submitted with application; no post-submission RTO accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Charge RN experience preferred
