Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Float across up to 5 different Medical Surgical / Telemetry units as needed
- Independently read and interpret telemetry strips
- Pass an on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or better (2 attempts allowed)
- Administer and manage IV therapy in accordance with unit protocols
- Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit environments
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2+ years of recent acute care experience
- Proficiency with Meditech and EPIC electronic health record systems
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be classified at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
- Previous experience floating across Medical Surgical / Telemetry units
- Strong adaptability and ability to transition seamlessly between different care environments
